Thanks to all the hundreds of talented musicians who applied to kick off the busking sessions at this year’s Red Stripe Camden Crawl. Alas there could be only TWO winners to fill the opening slots at The Camden Eye on Friday 18 April and Saturday 19 April which were filled by Jo Maultby and D-Finitive.
Jo started her career busking and living on the streets of Guildford. It was here that she developed her unique grungy sound and powerful vocals. With plenty of time on her hands as a homeless person, she quickly became an astounding guitarist, and certainly drew in the crowds at this year's Crawl. Check out her footage above and have a quick listen at www.myspace.com/dirtyscavenger
D-Finitive describe themselves as a young, energetic and passionate indie band, who have received some good press following performances at Faversham Hop Festival, Ashford's Festival in the Park and The Create Festival. Have a quick listen at www.myspace.com/dfinitive
Plenty more buskers lined up to entertain the masses, alongside some special guest performances over the two days.
