The regional showcases kicked off last night in Manchester at the Night n
Day cafe in the Northern Quarter. Gracing the stage were Islands Lost at
Sea, a great band to start with; a more mellow sound that some.....could be the next Gomez? Next up were Stolen Peace with a bigger sound and some great styling. Strategic Intent really got the crowd moving with some greatsongs and finally Eyes Wide, truly worthy of their headline status. All in all, a great gig. It will be interesting to see if the stakes are raised at the next gig on Thursday 17th January at The Windmill, Brixton.
