Red Stripe x Boiler Room x 14 Bike Co x Make Session 007

On February 25th Red Stripe teamed up with Boiler Room and 14 Bike Co for Make Session 007. Whilst DJs Steve Braiden, XXXY, Midland and Paul Woolford took to the decks back to back, 14 Bike Co. built five bespoke Red Stripe inspired fixed-gear bikes – live. The components: handlebars, wheels, saddle and frame were all assembled in situ to create the priceless fixies. Each bike was created to the sounds of XXXY b2b with Steve Braiden, and Midland b2b with Paul Woolford. Check our gallery for the best snaps of the bikes, DJ and night. Red Stripe make music in the corner shop

We’ve been busy getting to tell you about our new and exciting project - where we transformed a local corner shop on the Kingsland Road, Dalston into a giant musical instrument. Products from all over the shop were turned into unlikely instruments and burst into a musical melody when a Red Stripe was selected by a customer - noodle pots became maracas, bottles turned into trumpets and cans into xylophone.

Best of all, we planted 10 hidden cameras catching all the hilarious reactions. Check how this  all-singing all-dancing store brought a slice of Jamaica to the UK

Red Stripe’s Make Session 003 at Boiler Room to celebrate this year’s Notting Hill Carnival was unreal. Reminisce with King Tubby’s…

This weekend saw Red Stripe’s exhibition of the ‘makers’ of Notting Hill go live in one of the busiest routes of the Carnival – Portobello Road. Red Stripe collaborated with the legendary photographer Pennie Smith to capture eight unsung heroes preparing for the big weekend which were pasted up, poster style, on the wooden chip boards protecting Goldsmith’s Vintage.

Coming to the Notting Hill Carnival this Bank Holiday? We’ve got a treat lined up. Red Stripe have collaborated with the legendary photographer Pennie Smith to capture the ‘makers’ of Notting Hill preparing for the big weekend. You can get down to see the exhibition of Pennie’s work at Carnival itself, showcased on the wooden chipboards covering the corner of Portobello Road and Lancaster Road, and also visit the different ‘makers’ in situ. Adrian Luckie, manager of Mama’s Jerk Chicken, will be cooking up a storm on Portobello Road; Bert Clement, TFL’s station supervisor at Westbourne Park, will be opening its doors to the general public; Lionel McCalman, steel band leader, will be drumming out some tunes under the Westway; Rosaria Gracia, dancer and choreographer, will be sambaing her way down Ladbroke Grove; and the infamous Norman Jay MBE will pumping out tunes from his Good Times soundsystem at the far end of Portobello. See the Red Stripe map for details.
